Rustman, Part 4: Making It Feel Right

With sending, sync and tasks working, the second day was about the small things. A red picker for production, drag and drop that can't lose your work, history, copy as curl, tabs, simple tests, and one feature I talked myself out of. Rustman is at 0.5.0, and still not finished.

I Vibe Coded My TV, and I Like It

Our Google TV box showed ads before it showed Netflix, and the kids had already found every way around YouTube's limits. In two evenings with Claude Code I removed the bloat, put in a cleaner home screen, and wrote a small app that sends TV activity to my Telegram and locks the screen at bedtime.

I Rebuilt My Macro Pad's Software with Claude

My SXS K811 macro pad is great hardware with unreliable software. So I sat down with Claude Code, reverse-engineered how the app talks to the device, and built my own replacement, including keys that know which app I'm using.
